This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hello! My name is Matthew Marcus. I'm a writer with a BA in media studies from UVA. I recently completed a script for a 58 page web comic, and I would love to work with such a talented artist as yourself.
The perks: 1. I have connections with a small comic book magazine in Charlottesville, VA. If we made a print version of the comic we could get published, which is always cool.
2. Once we set up our website, I envision a tab for donations via a paypall account. If any money comes in at all, first take would go to you in recouping the cost of art supplies and for your time and hard work.
3. While I am in no means "connected" in the web comic industry, I have traded messages with some established artists like Mark Crilley and Scott McCloud, so you never know, we might get some attention!
Please email me whatever your decision.
Thanks so much! Matthew Marcus mjm4gx@virginia.edu [link]
Wow this a pretty cool offer, thank you for considering me. I don't always get offers for work, but unfortunately I do not think I can give your project the time it deserves. I have a lot on as it is. But I would still be interested and seeing what comes to fruition with your work. Maybe we can work together in the future. But for the time being I have to decline. Thank you again, its always a pleasure to hear from people interested in working with me.
That i should but wouldn't i be implicating also the person whose account was used to send this message to me? i don't really want to put that person in trouble because it wasn't their fault....so i'm unsure.
